ADOMANI Re-Power Systems allow for the elimination of:

  • Diesel, CNG, propane or gasoline, internal combustion engines

ADOMANI Re-Power Systems utilize OEM equipment for cost savings and service technician familiarity.

Retained systems typically include:

  • OEM transmissions
  • OEM engine/transmission cooling systems (radiators)
  • OEM motor mounting brackets and bolts
  • OEM power steering and air brake systems
  • OEM alternators and 12/24 volt systems


Existing Fleet Vehicle “Re-Power” Systems

The best fleet vehicle re-power targets are those with high acquisition cost, modest length routes, high traditional fuel burn and or those that are extremely common thus allowing for economies of scale in the manufacturing of the conversion systems.

  • Industry-unique (patents issued and pending) retrofit system designed to utilize, retain or re-purpose as many OEM components and systems as possible
  • When retained, the use of OEM transmission provides comparable acceleration performance and gradeability.
  • Quick install, “Kit” concept where conversion items are pre-assembled into sub-units and shipped on pallets.
  • Retained systems familiarity, dramatically reduces the learning curve for existing fleet maintenance technicians.
  • With modest ADOMANI training, current fleet technicians can perform drivetrain replacements and all ongoing maintenance at their facilities.

New fleet vehicle choices are those most popular in commercial and municipal fleets and those with an available city, air-district, State and Federal government incentive. It also includes those that give a “showcase” opportunity to Corporations wishing to demonstrate their “green” initiatives to the public visibly.

  • The use of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) complete vehicles or vehicle chassis are utilized.
  • For advanced zero-emission electric designs, ADOMANI will replace the OEM drivetrain system of the “donor” base vehicle with electric drive motor(s) systems unless the base vehicle can be procured as a “roller/glider” (no engine).
  • Vehicle range is directly related to total battery pack size and there is a diminishing return as the weight of incremental battery packs is added.
  • Anticipated vehicle route planning will determine an optimal range and pack size.
  • Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery cells are standard.
  • Other battery chemistries can be provided at an additional cost that allows for 10,000+ cycle life and ultra-fast charging (full charge in 10-12 minutes).
  • Ultra-fast charge enabled vehicles usually require an upgraded facility-based charging infrastructure.
